With over 16 years of dedication to the field of education, my journey began in the heart of the classroom, where my enthusiasm for incorporating technology into learning first ignited. This passion drove me to constantly explore innovative strategies to enhance student engagement and mastery through technological integration. After a decade of enriching classroom experiences, I transitioned to the Technology Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) role at Beaumont Unified, where I pivotally empowered teachers to leverage 1:1 devices to foster 21st-century skills in students. Currently, as an Instructional Technology Coordinator, my expertise has flourished in fostering collaborative relationships with educators and administrators, furthering our collective goal to integrate technology into our curriculum seamlessly. This position has allowed me to deepen my commitment to utilizing technology as a tool and as a catalyst for nurturing student independence and curiosity in the digital age.
